Selection Criteria
Fo the selection process of SEG scholarship, a committee of 8 professional Geophysicists is formed. Once the application period is closed in March, the experts start evaluating and reviewing each application. Upon examining the entries of the applicants, the expert organises the data in the form of ranks. Further, a formal meeting is held during the end of May in which final rankings are decided. As per the number of entries selected for SGE scholarship, they are matched with the amount that is available for scholarship. Once these steps are complete, the results are announced in mid-June.Â
