Trudeau Foundation Scholarships

The Trudeau Foundation Scholarships are prestigious awards that recognize and celebrate the intellectual and civic leadership of outstanding Canadian post-secondary students. The scholarships are funded by the Trudeau Foundation, which was created to honour the legacy of the late Pierre Elliott Trudeau, who was the 15th Prime Minister of Canada. The award is one of the most generous scholarships in Canada, and is awarded to up to 15 students each year. The Trudeau Foundation Scholarships provide financial support, mentorship, and other resources to students who demonstrate a commitment to public service and leadership. The recipients of the Trudeau Foundation Scholarships are encouraged to pursue their academic goals and to develop their skills as engaged citizens in their communities.

The Trudeau Foundation is an autonomous and non-partisan charity founded in 2001 by the family members, associates and colleagues as a living memorial to Pierre Trudeau, the former Canadian Prime Minister. The Government of Canada donated the Applied Studies in the Arts and Human Sciences Fund to the Foundation in 2002.
