Entry requirements of University of Winchester

In order to get admission to the University of Winchester the student needs to fulfil the IELTS requirement for admission to undergraduate degree programmes in the University of Winchester is 6.0 and for Academic Writing is 5.5. An equivalent qualification of 560 in Paper-based TOEFL and 220 in Computer-based TOEFL.

Degrees from major metropolitan institutions such as Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai (Madras), Mumbai (Bombay), Ahmadabad, Pune, Bangalore, Nagpur, Kanpur, Kolkata (Calcutta), Lucknow, Jaipur, and Jodhpur are available. Normally, a well-known college linked with a large metropolitan university will be evaluated for admission with a 60 percent acceptance rate (and above). In exceptional cases students with lesser scores will be accepted due to the University of Calcutta and University of Pune’s very strict marking schemes. First Class degrees are generally given marks between 58 percent and 62 percent.
